The Cooperative Education Program at Northeastern University, also known as a “co-op,” is one of the largest and most innovative in the world, and Northeastern is one of only a few that offers aCo-op Program for Graduate Students. Through this program students gain industry experience in a wide variety of organizations, fromlarge companies to entrepreneurial start-ups, while helping to finance their education.

The Multidisciplinary Master’s Co-op program is for students pursuing MS degrees in Cyber-Physical Systems, Data Architecture and Management, Information Systems, Information Systems-Bridge, Software Engineering Systems, and Telecommunication Networks.

Rishi Parpyani, MS’23, information systems, had a co-op at Peapod as a technology architect. He is now a product data analyst at LP Analyst, a company that provides a cloud-based private asset portfolio management platform.

After 13 years in the industry, Raymond Tay, MS’24, is gaining new insights on the telecommunications industry as he simultaneously pursues a master’s in telecommunications networks from the College of Engineering, and a graduate certificate in engineering leadership from the Gordon Institute of Engineering Leadership.
